Community-led Monitoring for People who Use Drugs

We have produced a Community-led Monitoring for People who Use Drugs guide to introduce community-led monitoring (CLM) to our community and to provide resources to support the implementation of and funding for CLM.

CLM plays a vital role in advocating for the rights and well-being of people who use drugs. It relies on our leadership and expertise to increase equity, uphold human rights, and improve accessibility and acceptability of services.

CLM can help build our capacity to collect data, analyse it, and advocate for improvements in harm reduction and other services on a daily basis.

This guide intends to provide a framework for people who use drugs to implement CLM in your countries, including a review of good practices, technical processes, confidentiality, and data safeguarding.  It also provides useful tips on how to maximise your influence, build advocacy and justify the need for programmatic and policy shifts.
