Beyond the “fentanyl drought”: a lived/living experience response to Vangelov et al. on overdose declines in North America
As overdose deaths begin to fall in the US and Canada, Vangelov et al.’s research has linked the decline to changes in the illicit fentanyl supply. In our response, we take a closer look at that argument and ask what gets missed when supply disruption is treated as a policy success.
